Not necessarily an issue with either your consoles or monitor, probably only a firmware update and/or settings as mentioned. I haven’t come across something like this though.īecause this blank screen error doesn’t occur with another monitor, the most likely possibility is that it’s something on this monitor. It was graphics compatibility complications, but I believe it was soon addressed and resolved in an update. I remember seeing a few threads regarding display/graphics issues with this monitor and Series X|S consoles. I’m an Insider and happen to have exactly the same OS version as you on my Series X, so that’s an Insider Build for sure. Always happy to help :) RainingRoses Xbox Ambassador Sorry for so many questions, this would help with troubleshooting. I would try this first (before a console reset or anything else), as you’ve experienced this error with 2 consoles on the same monitor. You may need to reset your display settings on your monitor, or connect to a different one. I understand you’ve already tried another HDMI cable, but can you try a different HDMI input on your monitor, or a different TV/monitor? Please can you confirm whether you’re an Xbox Insider and exactly what OS version you’re currently on? You can find this info in Settings > System > Console info.ĭo you use a HDMI adapter/switch in your setup, or is everything directly connected?ĭoes this error occur only with games on physical disks or digital, or both? Any games in particular, or all that you’ve tried?Īre you able to share a photo of your console display settings here? Just to see all the enabled options that may be the reason for this. I’ve escalated this thread for you, so you can hopefully receive an official answer with further advice. This is a strange issue, especially as you’ve encountered this on both a Series S and Series X.
